Decorating the Christmas tree is one of my favourite ways to get into the holiday spirit so the moment December rolls around, I'm in the garage retrieving the tinsel and fairy lights. In previous years, my family's tree has been a rainbow of of colour however this year we thought we'd decorate with a more specific aesthetic in mind. We decided on a colour scheme of white, silver, black and gold but after separating our decorations, realised we had very few left to hang. Since most of our ornaments are years old, I decided we were probably due for some new ones anyway so I went out and picked out a couple more to replenish our supply.
